Azita Ghanizada Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in numerous television shows. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and received asylum to remain. Her family raised her with two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career in the field of TV with a few National Commercials. Ghanizada received an honorary award for the role of Chiara, the main character in Laura Neri's 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose. Her television credits include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Recent roles include an appearance as a character in Blood Shot, (2009) - based on the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada has been cast in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital which was telecast on primetime television. For season two of Nightshift, she was holistic specialist the Dr. Saira Bastra.
