Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican American broadcaster. She works as an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation at times. She began her career at ESPN in the year of 2016. Her mother is the television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. Since she was nine years old, Collins's capacity to speak two languages has allowed her to get an employment in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. In 1992, her parents divorced then shortly thereafter in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo, a naval engineer who passed away in the year 2006 due to kidney cancer. She stayed in Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime and was offered a job. Antonietta still a senior at high school, yet she was clear about the career she wanted to pursue. While deciding if Mount Union would be a good fit for her Antonietta decided to go visit the university. It was a beautiful campus and provided the education she wanted. Her high school graduation was in the spring of 2004 and was enrolled in media studies at the college. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU and WRMU, which she is a member. They developed a close connection. Her professor urged her to have self-confidence and was greatly moved by his enthusiasm for journalism.
